Introduction

Welcome to Daily Curiosity (“we,” “our,” or “us”). We are committed to protecting the privacy of all our users, including children. This Privacy Policy describes our data practices and how third-party advertising (Google AdMob) may interact with users of our app.

Daily Curiosity is a family-friendly app designed for users of all ages, including children under 13. We take our obligations under the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and other applicable privacy laws seriously.

Information We Collect Directly

✓ Our Commitment

Daily Curiosity does not directly collect, store, or process any personal information from its users. We do not require account registration, and we do not ask for your name, email address, location, or any other personal data.

The app does not use cookies, analytics SDKs, or any tracking technology of our own.

Advertising — Google AdMob

Daily Curiosity displays advertisements served by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising network operated by Google LLC. While we do not collect personal data ourselves, AdMob may collect certain information automatically when ads are displayed in the app.

What AdMob May Collect

  • Advertising ID (IDFA on iOS / GAID on Android) — a resettable, non-permanent device identifier
  • IP address (used to infer general location for ad targeting)
  • Device information (model, OS version, screen size)
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks, view duration)
  • Diagnostic and performance data

How AdMob Uses This Data

Google AdMob uses the data it collects to serve relevant advertisements, measure ad performance, and prevent ad fraud. AdMob’s data practices are governed by Google’s Privacy Policy: policies.google.com/privacy

COPPA — Child-Directed Advertising

Because Daily Curiosity is available to users of all ages, including children under 13, we have configured AdMob to serve non-personalized, child-directed ads in compliance with COPPA and Google’s Families Policy. This means:

  • Ads shown in this app are not based on behavioral profiling or personal interest targeting
  • AdMob does not use persistent identifiers to track children across apps or websites
  • Ads are contextual only and suitable for general audiences

Children's Privacy (COPPA)

⚑ For Parents & Guardians

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately. We will take prompt action to delete such information.

We are fully committed to complying with the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). Specifically:

  • We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13
  • We do not require children to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to use the app
  • We have configured all third-party SDKs, including AdMob, to operate in child-directed mode
  • We do not share children’s data with third parties for commercial purposes

5

Third-Party Links and Content

The app may display content or links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage parents and guardians to supervise their children’s online activity and review the privacy policies of any third-party sites visited.

6

Data Security

Since we do not collect personal data, there is no user data stored on our servers to secure. For data handled by AdMob, Google applies industry-standard security measures as described in their Privacy Policy.

You can reset your device’s advertising ID or opt out of interest-based ads at any time:

iOS
  • Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking
  • Settings > Privacy & Security > Apple Advertising
Android
  • Settings > Google > Ads > Reset Advertising ID
  • Opt out of Ads Personalization

7

Your Privacy Rights

Even though we do not collect personal data, you may have rights regarding data collected by AdMob. You can exercise those rights directly with Google:

  • Opt out of personalized ads via your device settings (see Section 6 above)
  • Reset or delete your device’s advertising identifier at any time
  • Submit data requests to Google at: myaccount.google.com/data-and-privacy

Residents of California (CCPA), the European Economic Area (GDPR), and other jurisdictions with applicable privacy laws may have additional rights. Please contact us or Google directly to exercise these rights.

8

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or applicable law. We will post the updated policy within the app and update the effective date above. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Your continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
